06/03/2010 "TBH" Marion Meyer Contemporain Bazin, Thébault, Herreria, Paris.
Michel Herreria is a painter. For this exhibition, he paints directs with the graphic palette of the pictures that will be projected. These pictures are fixed or animated, with sound or without. This artist's work comes from drawing, from the line in the sharpest sense: the "flash of wit". He is interested in words concerned with the social aspect of life. His graphic witticisms treat the absurd, the man trapped in the proliferation of the grids that accompany our systems. His work is a tragi-comic theater in which the words and acts of the "deciders" become stage characters left to their own devices.
